Infant Program

This program begins at six weeks of age. A maximum of eight infants can be in this program. There are two qualified staff members to care for our youngest group.

​

Due to the individual schedules of each infant, each infant has his/her own personalized schedule. 

​1yr & 2yr Old Toddler Program
This program begins when the child is 12 months-old. The students are placed in a classroom with a maximum of 8 students and the support of two qualified teachers. We believe in this approach to ensure the opportunity to work directly in small groups with staff members devoted to developing a secure and safe environment in which they will each be able to thrive.

6:30-9:00 - Children Arrival 

6:30-7:30 - Arrive in Pre-school room

7:30-8:30 - Transition to classrooms

8:30-8:45 - Toileting/Diaper Changing and Wash Hands  

9:00-9:30 - Breakfast

9:30-9:45 - Social Development/Library Time 

9:45-10:00 - Circle-Calendar Time  

10:00-11:00 - Center Stations/Table Activity 

11:00-11:15 - Toileting/ Diaper Changing and Wash Hands 

11:15-11:45 - Gross Motor Play 

11:45-12:00 - Lunch Prep

12:00-12:30 - Lunch/Clean Up

12:30-12:40 - Music

12:40-12:50 - Brush Teeth

12:50-1:00 - Nap Prep/Toileting and Diaper Change

1:00-3:00 - Nap Time

3:00-3:30 - Wake Time/Toileting and Diaper Change 

3:30-4:00 - Snack

4:00-6:00 - Child Initiated Play(inside or outside-weather depending)          

 

Bathrooming is encouraged before or after each transition for those who are training. Pull-ups/diapers are changed/checked every 40 minutes, unless parents make other arrangements.

​Preschool Class
​This program is developed for children ages 3 and 4. This is a curriculum-based program that invloves children rotating through stations based upon themes shared by the entire program. Centers include: Art, Science, Math, Reading/Language Arts, Social Studies, and Music.

9:30-9:50 - Circle Time - Lessons and Activities Concurrent with General Classroom Themes

10:30-11:30 - Gross Motor/Outdoor Play

11:30-12:00 - Whole Group-Teacher Led Instruction/ Wash Hands 

12:00-12:50 - Lunch and Tooth Brushing 

12:50-1:10 - Gross Motor

1:10-1:30 - Nap Prep

1:30-3:30 - Nap Time 

3:30-3:45 - Snack

3:45-6:00 - Child Initiated Play

6:00 - ELF Closes

​Pre-K Collaborative Program

​We are a county-based collaborative program that incorporates the developmental guidelines of the kindergarten preparatory program as well as utilizing time to implement additional skills such as Spanish and Sign Language instruction. Children experience learning through child-initiated play with center time and outdoor play focusing on the following domains:: Motor Skills, Social/Emotional Development, Cognition and Adaptive skills. Indoor center opportunities include: Construction, Math, Science, Listening, Reading, Computers, Art, Music, Dramatic Play and Writing Stations.
